Cleaners & Cleaning Tips

WASHING MACHINE

Regularly maintaining your washing machine seal is necessary to ensure its longevity and prevent mould and mildew buildup. By following these tips, you can easily keep your front load washing machine rubber door seal clean and in top condition:

  1. Wipe the seal after each use: After each laundry cycle, take a moment to wipe the rubber door seal with a clean, damp cloth. This will help remove any moisture, detergent residue, or lint that may have accumulated.
  2. Keep the door open: Leaving the washing machine door slightly ajar when it’s not in use allows air to circulate and helps prevent the growth of mould and mildew. This simple routine significantly reduces the chances of mould developing on the rubber seal.
  3. Perform regular deep cleaning: Besides routine wiping, perform monthly deep cleanings of your washing machine seal.

CLEANING TOILETS & LIMESCALE

Pour half a bottle of vinegar essence into the toilet bowl in the evening and leave it to work overnight. The next morning, you will be able to easily clean off any urine scale, thanks to the acetic acid it contains. You can also use this method to remove urine stains in toilet bowls and pipes. Vinegar is more environmentally friendly than other cleaning products, but should also be used with caution.
