TELEVISION
- Use this remote control to turn the main television monitor on. Press the red ON button.
- After the TV is on. Then press the SOURCE button and click onto the HDMI icon.
- Then use the smaller remote control to click on the channels you want
- If you want to use any subscriber APPS – Amazon, Disney, AppleTV, BBC, C5, ITVX – please log in with your own account information.
- Please remember to log out when you leave.
- Please leave the remote controls under the TV when you leave – so we can find them easily!
COOKER – the ignition is not working. Please use the electric handheld lighter – this is kept in the left of the cutlery drawer.
CENTRAL HEATING – NEST THERMOSTAT
The Nest thermostat is a touch pad system. Please set it to ECO if you are turning it on. Please turn the heating off if you are not in the house.
You will need to check that the boiler is set to on. It is a combination boiler so hot water and heating will be automatically available.
The Energy Saving Trust recommends heating your home to between 18 to 21 degrees celsius during winter. And The World Health Organisation (WHO) suggests 18 degrees is the ideal temperature for healthy and well-dressed people.

GOOGLE SPEAKER – this is in the kitchen, you can ask it anything ! You can also connect your phone to it to play music.

GARDEN & BBQ
Please treat the garden with care, we want it to be happy and look beautiful for our family and for any guests. There is a fly mower in the garden shed. You can cut the grass with that, and use the two extension leads that are kept in the kitchen cupboard under the sink. There may be some bbq charcoal in the garden storage unit, though we would advise you buy your own ahead of your stay. FOOD WASTE BINS
Please put food waste in a green recycle food bag in the small kitchen bin. When it is full, please place the bag of food in the small green bin at the front of the house. The plastic bin is behind the plants. The council collection is on Friday/Sat mornings.

WHEN YOU CHECK OUT PLEASE PUT THIS IN THE LARGE GREEN WHEELY BIN OR OUTSIDE THE HOUSE IF IT IS A THURSDAY OR FRIDAY
Please put all recycling into a clear plastic bag. When you are leaving please tie up the bag and either leave it in the large green outside bin (if you are leaving on a day when there is no waste collection that week), or please leave it in the front of the house ready for the collection. Please check the waste calendar below.

Please put the rubbish this smaller black bin in the kitchen. When you leave please place this bin bag in the large black wheelie bin in the garden.

You will find it in the cutlery drawer. Please lock the door and put it back in the drawer.
COUNCIL REFUSE COLLECTION – GENERAL INFORMATION
SCHEDULE BELOW – please check this and leave the correct waste at the front of the property the night before the collection.

There is a fire extinguisher in the kitchen. There is a first aid kit under the sink.
CLOTHES DRYER & WASHING LINE
There are three washing lines at the back of the garden. There are pegs in the garden storage to hang the washing on the line.
